Going To NYC Tomorrow + Mini Haul!

Hiya! I feel like I haven't blogged in foooorever, mostly in part since I have yet to buy a full length mirror and never get snaps of my coords. I did try to keep up with pictures of my makeup.

My apartments lighting sucks but I found an amazing place in the campus library that gets tons of natural light and I get really decent pictures.

Anyway I'm going to NYC tomorrw for SM Town NY (K-Pop concert) with some friends and guess what.....ONE OF THEM IS GAL! Hallelujah I'm not lonely anymore.

We're going to go to that Japanese bookstore and I've been praying that I can find Soul Sister vol. 2 there. That's pretty much all I want really.

Unrelated....Walmart had a crap ton of Hello Kitty stuff and I was tempted to blow my freaking budget but didn't (my horoscope said not to, I did bend/dent it (-_-;;)

I went out to get tools to manage my brows (which have just been horrid by my standards recently) and buy some more clips for my clip in extentions I made.

Ended buying more stuff but so far it's stuff I need and want. I'm happy with my purchases.

Here's what I got:

Beyond the Zone "Split Mender" leave in conditioner. This stuff is amazing. Idk if you noticed but I'm Black so when my hair gets wet it gets curly and when I blow dry it, it gets super frizzy but this tamed it and made  my ends so nice!

Beyond the Zone Smooth Enuff- haven't used.The stuff was buy 2 get one free so I chose this. I'll do proper reviews on everything later.

Beyond the Zone Protein Cocktail leave in conditioner. Haven't tried it but apparently it was in Lyfe & Style magazine and Nicole Richie uses it.

My quest for a deep dark red lip has brought me to NYC for the Sugar Plum Fairy (lime green circle) and Vamp it Up (magenta cirlce). Between these two and my MAC Viva La Glam III and Manic Panic Kiss of Death I should be able to combine and mix for all sorts of looks.

100% Human clip in hair extensions in purple. I want to get some in a teal blue color as well as pink but I had to remeber I have rent and bills now so I just got one pack of the purple to add a slash of color to my always near black hair.


I also got more foundation (a few days ago I bought one from Maybaline but it's a little to dark for me but the shade before that it a little too light so I'm going to mix and hopefully have a just right moment.

Had to buy polish because my huge bag of it is at home TT.TT so I can make some nails tonight. They'll be black and a midnight blue with hot pink, lime green, and yellow rhinestones. They'll be rock themed (I have dead zombie teddy bear decals). My idea is inspired by Miho's nails in Soul Sister Vol. 1

Also found a lip concealer for my complexion. Trying to find the right mix of concealer and lipsticks to a nude lip for my skin tone has been a challenge. Damn I'll be happy when I do.

Well I'll take loads of pictures but I have to go flat iron my hair and pack and finish my nails.....ugh.

Finished My First Set of Nails!!!

Here goes a picture of the nails I've been working on. I'm not going to put them on just yet since I'm packing and they are just going to get man handled and mangled XD

I am happy for my first try with all of them except the white one on the right. I used three different sizes of the black rhinestone when I should have stuck to the smallest size like I did with the white one on the left. Lesson learned.

Finally Started Working On Nails.

I spent so much time building up this arsenal of stuff to make nails to never make nails so I decided to do nothing today really but type a paper, catch up on blog stuff, and make nails. This is my third time working with rhinestones and second time work with nail pens, those things are life savers:

I cracked this nail but instead of tossing it I decided to use it as practice and this is what I came up with. (no light/light pic)

This is the thumb to the set I'm making to actually wear. It'll be punk rock influnced so I'll post a pic of all ten when they're done.

Some new stuff...

Pic spam of some new stuff I got. The weather is getting nicer!!!! It was 66 degrees but it was cloudy and rained around 2 or 3 (but just a bit). I also have post I'm going to make about the April issue of Popsister. Maybe I'll talk about EGG but I liked Popsister's April issue more. Also JoJo is awesome. Her mixtape is amazing, she's such a great singer. It's called Can't Take That Away From Me. It's free so google and download it!

Not very eciting but I got this to store loose rhinestones in. I need all my nail stuff to be organized or else all hell will break loose.

I got some cool shorts. They look very big for me (I'm a size 5 jr.). They just need t be taken in a bit in the waist.

Didn't buy yet because I want some exactly this. Men's suspender's/braces. I'm so going to get my bluesy old school on.

2500 red 3mm rhinestones. Ican't wait to make my Brit punk rock nails (see previous nail post).

Two wheels of various shaped rhinestones, the larger sized bling for my nails (which seriously need to be done).

I got to MAC Hello Kitty eyes shadows. One is Gesso White and the other is Goldmine. They are so cute and the line is discontinued so hunting them down is insane. I culd have sworn I took a pic of the goldmine still in it's box.....

This was like a free gift with the shadows. I found it a bit hood to put loose pigment in a little baggy, it's like getting drugs or something....

MAC Hello Kitty 7pcs brush set.

MAC Hello Kitty Lip glass. I fell in love with it and bought another one in a different shade. If they don't sell out I want to buy more!

Wicked Nail Spam.

This post isn't long but the quality of the nails make the post worthy of being called wicked!

 I don't know if these are actually nails or just sticker stuff you put on top but these are awesome.

The last three pictures were all done by the same person but the last two aren't water marked. So much inspiration. I think I'm making some nails tonight (my Yumachi copy ones I never got around to making). I'm also planning some Spongebob/Sailor themed ones (I'm so just thinking of summer).

Well first with what I think is the boring stuff. Here's a pic spam of the stuff that came in the mail today. I think I have recieved all of nail stuff. I just need a really good pink gel nail glue. Anyone knows where I can get some?

Clear rhinestones in various shapes.

You can't see it well but it's a bunch of tiny pink hearts. I want larger ones in bulk, I'll try etsy to find some.

Awesome flat back jewels so I can put larger bling on my nails. Some pieces are to large for nails but I'm already searching for decoden stuff (I have alot of stuff to deco) and can use them for that too^.^

Little rose cabochons I can use on my nails, getting larger ones for when I deco stuff.

A bunch of rhinestones in various shapes and colors, there's some nice sized cirlce ones but there are also rhinestones with cone backs.....what am I suppose to do with those??????

My reversable Liz Lisa tote back. It's not huge but it works for what I plan to use it for which is carrying my curling irons and stuff when I'm out (you never know what might happen). Or I just might use it to store decoden stuff since I take that with me everywhere (I get bored and that's what my new favorite hobby is).

Next is my funny photoshoot. While taking pics of my new stuff with my laptop I discovered funny hats and hair that you can add to your pictures......I had alot of fun playing with it.

Played around with the frames I already knew about.

Took this cute pic (no lenses or lashes, all I did was get my mail and pick up food today)

I finally get to be a Super Saiyan (did I spell that right lol).

As you can see after my cute pic things went mad when I found the hats and hair.

This is what I wore today. I also have come to the conclusion that I no longer am obsessed with sneakers. Plus I feel like my legs look short and stocky when they actually are long and well defined.
